Artist of the Week:  The Front Bottoms

This is pure flippin' genius:  "One day you'll be washing your self with hand soap in a public bathroom.  And you'll be thinking how did I get here?  Where the hell I am?  If the roles were reversed you could have seen me sneaking up.  Sneaking up from behind."  Is that not a great lyric or what?  I mean come on...that's pure genius!

I recently discovered this band two days ago on another awesome music blog website and I have absolutely fallen in love with this new emerging Indie-Rock band.

The Front Bottoms are composed of two guys:  Brian Sella on vocals and guitars and Mathew Uychich on drums and bullhorn.

These two guys have been playing music together since they were 8 and 10 years old and recently released their  self-titled debut album, The Front Bottoms, on September 6th, 2011.

The Front Bottoms have been compared to having similar musical styles related to Green Day and the Sex Pistols.  However I love The Front Bottoms because their music is very confessional and hook-filled.

Check out this new, up and coming Indie-Rock band, because I'm sure you're going to love them as much as I love them!  :)
