Artist of the Week: Wondernaut
An Alternative Rock band from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma that started out as the title for a song written by one of Billy Gro's (frontman for Wondernaut) good friends, Sean Taylor. Billy knew the world just wouldn't be right unless he made music under that name; Wondernaut. The band name Wondernaut means, a traveler of thought. Billy spent the ensuing years wandering Thought and writing about his travels.
Wondernaut has a new EP, that I believe came out in early October, called 1,000 Love Songs EP.
I actually received the opportunity to listen to the whole EP and review it and I do believe that it's indeed a lovely five song album. Beautiful mellowed out songs that will tug at the tender heart of any sentimentalist. Very relatable retrospective lyrics that make you take a stroll down memory lane to reminisce. Brilliant use of rhythmic guitars and very pretty acoustics on track 4, Dying To Live.
