Soon to be Legends.....

Artist of the Week:  The Dirty River Boys

Soon to be legends....The Dirty River Boys!

That's right!  I'm calling it and you heard it here first on The Crescendo about the trio of boys that are taking the Texas/Red Dirt scene by storm.

I am so excited to introduce this extremely talented trio to y'all, because after only hearing one song by these guys on the radio, I decided to check out a live performance of theirs on Youtube and their performance on stage blew me away!  That's why I am saying they are soon to be legends and a common household name.

This band has only been together for 1 year (since February 2010 to be exact), but when they're on stage performing, you would never guess that.  These boys are so in-sync with each other in their three part harmonies. And Oh..yes, ALL three of them sing and play multiple instruments.

The Dirty River Boys member include Nino Cooper on guitar, mandolin, harmonica, and singing vocals; Marco Gutierrez on guitar,  mandolin, harmonica, and singing vocals; Travis Sterns on drums, cajon, harmonica, and singing vocals.  (Recently, they just added a stand-up bass player named CJ.  This could be possible hearsay, though.  I'm not too for sure on this, so don't quote me.)

Their sound of music is uniquely their own, literally.  I can't describe to you what genre they really fall under.  They're not necessarily Folk or Americana or Bluegrass or Country or Indie Rock....they're just simply...The Dirty River Boys!

The Dirty River Boys that hail from the dust and red dirt roads of El Paso, Texas, that are winning the hearts of Texans and will soon be winning the hearts of everyone, every where else.  They've already stole my heart and I'm sure after watching the videos below they'll steal your hearts too.  So, take a listen and watch...you won't be disappointed!!! Guaranteed!!!
