For Something Different

Artist of the Week:  East Cameron Folklore

I think this band is so good, I couldn't just post them on my other music blog, The Fermata, which is dedicated to singer-songwriter from Texas.  I had to post them on The Crescendo, too.

East Cameron Folklore is a bluesy, folky, multi-instrumental group of ten folk rockers from Austin, Texas.

Recently, they released their debut album, “Sound & Fury:  Songs In The Key Of Love And Death”.  The album is an 11 track LP.  The record is described as, “constructed in the vein of a Homeric tragedy interwoven with the comedic disposition of a realized five-act Shakespeare or 12-book Milton”.

Most definitely an album and a band worth listening to for something different!
