Artist of the Week:  First Aid Kit

First Aid Kit is an Americana duo, made up of Swedish sisters, Klara and Johanna Söderberg.  

They released in late January their debut album, The Lion's Roar, which is their first US recorded album.

All tracks on the album were written by Klara and Johanna with honesty, in a folksy/Americana style.

The sisters are only in their late teens and early twenties, but they show maturity in the quality of their songwriting.

Their vocal harmonies are spot on and are synchronized perfectly.

First Aid Kit's sophomore album is a tenderly sweet, poetic album with the kind of song lyrics that captures your attention and makes you digress away from the world, so you can focus all your energy into comprehending, what is being said.
