Band of the Week:  Metalachi 

So, I am always on the lookout for new, eccentric, underground type music of all genres and I think I found a band that tops them ALL.  The discovery of this band kind of just fell in my lap and I thought they were pretty darn nifty and unorthodox.  Their exterior style sort of reminds of a Spanish version of KISS and their musical blends of two totally disparate genres makes for an amazing, uncanny, full-fledged encounter.  No, this band is not a gimmick or a once a year get together Halloween themed band.  They are a legit heavy metal mariachi band that mostly performs covers of heavy metal songs by Judas Priest, Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Ozzy Osbourne.  The band members’ story of being formed and their personal bios can be found on their band’s website.  I highly recommend reading their story and personal bios, because they are hysterical storytelling parodies being compromised of truth and fiction.  Check out the following vid. and links and I promise you will NOT be disappointed!!!
